We believe strongly that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is worth defending - through litigation if necessary.

While Minnesota's firearms laws are quite clear, some government entities see fit to violate those laws and restrict your Second Amendment freedoms.

When we see these challenges, we take action and intervene in order to protect your right to keep and bear arms.

Please email us at contact@gunowners.mn to report an infringement to the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus.

Be sure to include:

  • Your contact information (Name, Phone #, E-Mail Address)
  • Specific details of the infringement - where, when, what, dates, times, etc.
  • Any documents or photos that may help support the case

We'll review your report with our leadership team, including our outside counsel, and get back to you within 7 days.

Do keep in mind that we generally do not get involved in criminal cases or individual permit to purchase/permit to carry denials - you will need to secure your own counsel for those situations. In these cases, however, we can refer you to an attorney within our network that has experience in firearms cases.

We're specifically looking for infringements on your Second Amendment rights by Minnesota government or federal entities that can be pursued on a broad scale.  See our legal action page for examples of our work in this area.
